We would like to acknowledge the people and organizations that participated in crafting a solution when it became clear that state funds for vaccines for privately insured children might end in 2010.
This private/public partnership came together as the Universal Purchase Leadership Planning Group, under the leadership of Representative Eileen Cody, chair of the House Health Care and Wellness Committee, and Senator Karen Keiser, chair of the Senate Health and Long Term Care Committee. Paul Dziedzic facilitated the many meetings and discussions over a 12-month period.
